About the role
Grantrax is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Tumbarumba, NSW. This is a full-time position that requires operating Excavators on Local construction sites to complete essential infrastructure projects.
What you'll be doing
Safely operate a range of excavators to carry out earthmoving, site clearing, and demolition tasks
Ensure the efficient and effective completion of construction projects according to specifications
Perform routine maintenance and pre-start checks on assigned machinery
Communicate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate work activities
Adhere to all safety procedures and environmental regulations on site
What we're looking for
Minimum 2 years' experience as an Excavator Operator in the construction industry

At SA Dirtworks we are seeking hard working reliable civil construction labourers/operators and crew leaders to help deliver our long term contracts on time.
Required task trenching/excavation, Hydro excavation, traffic management, soft and hard surface reinstatement. Nbn and Telstra Pit and pipe install. Acm pit removal.
Minimum 1-2 years of nbn/telstra civil construction experience is required.
Some informal leadership experience is required for crew leader positions.
Required hours are 7-5 with penalties. There is a mix of metro and regional work. This is a great opportunity for someone with civil experience to jump right into a crew leader position or to learn and grow as a labourer with our small expanding business.
Must be willing to get HR auto, excavator, traffic management TMI 1, asbestos removal.
