The FOI and Privacy Officer is responsible for administering the BPC's Freedom of Information (FOI), Privacy and Data Protection functions and other duties as requested by the Manager, Corporate Governance. In addition to strong stakeholder management skills, the role has a solid understanding of the FOI and Privacy and Data Protection frameworks and will ensure that the BPC meets its obligations under the relevant legislation, by responding to FOI applications, BPC privacy breaches managing relevant risks and educating staff as required.

About the BPC
The Building & Plumbing Commission (BPC) is Victoria's new regulator for building and plumbing.
It brings together the Victorian Building Authority (VBA), Domestic Building Dispute Resolution Victoria (DBDRV), and the domestic building insurance function of the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority (VMIA) into one organisation.
Key functions related to building and plumbing regulation will come together under one roof, including registration, inspection and compliance, practitioner discipline, dispute resolution, and domestic building insurance. These services will now part of the BPC and will be fully integrated over the next 12 months.

The Position
We are seeking a natural resource management or government policy or spatial planning professional to join our team. You will help develop and implement Marine Park / marine protected area policies and marine spatial plans under limited direction with reasonable autonomy and accountability.
As part of the planning team, you will provide high level support and technical advice on Marine Park planning matters and assist with the development and amendment of management plans and strategies for the management of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. This role may have a considerable level of public contact in relation to difficult or sensitive issues and may liaise with a range of stakeholders in a representational capacity.
You will be a team player, working closely and collaboratively with other areas of the Reef Authority, the Australian and Queensland government’s Reef Joint Field Management Program, Traditional Owners and other State and Commonwealth government partner agencies as well as a diverse network of stakeholders.

The Senior Project Officer is responsible for leading specified projects managed by the Intergovernment Relations Portfolio, with a focus on national coordination, Ministerial and departmental responses, scoping and refining issues, conducting consultations and analysis, and developing strategies and solutions to further support national safety and quality improvements. The role will also contribute to broader high-priority activities to support the portfolio. Duties of the Senior Project Officer will include, but are not limited to, the following:
With the Executive Director and Acting Director, lead the planning and conceptualisation of strategies to support Intergovernment Relations projects.
Advise on strategy, risk management and stakeholder engagement in relation to the key program areas.
Undertake the complete range of procurement and project and contract management activities.
Prepare high-quality written reports, briefs and other documents for a range of audiences
Liaise with and foster productive relations with key stakeholders, including other agencies, clinical organisations, consumer groups, government authorities, the private health sector, industry bodies and contractors.
Consult with and provide advice to colleagues, including Commission Executive, about progress of key programs and their strategic implications.
Manage and provide secretariat for advisory groups.

Central Coast Council is seeking a casual Camping Compliance Officer to join our team and help ensure safe, enjoyable and compliant camping experiences across the Central Coast region this summer.
As a Camping Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for performing inspectorial and law enforcement functions, primarily relating to Council’s Caravans and Camping By-law. Duties include inspecting campgrounds, ensuring compliance with camping permit conditions such as no fires, self-contained vehicles and length of stay, while also providing friendly customer service to campers. The position may also support broader compliance functions, including parking enforcement and animal control, in line with relevant Acts, Regulations, Council Policies, and By-laws.
This is a casual position, working approximately 3 days a week until end of April 2026. There is potential for relief compliance work after the camping compliance work finishes for the season in April 2026.
Essential:
Knowledge of or experience in tourism and camping industry (desirable).
Previous experience in a customer service role.
Well-developed interpersonal skills, including demonstrated conflict resolution, consultation and customer service skills.
Proficient literacy and written communication skills, including the preparation of evidence, reports and correspondence.
Demonstrated organisation and time management skills.
Well-developed computer skills, including the ability to manage systems, including Microsoft Office suite.

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Director - Compliance Investigations to lead and oversee high-level investigations that protect the values and integrity of the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area. As part of the Reef Joint Field Management Program, you’ll coordinate investigations, provide strategic advice, and ensure compliance with legislation. The position is based within the Reef Authority’s Field Management Program, staffed by Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority and Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS).
