As a GP in this facility, you will provide high level of urgent clinical care to a wide range of patients/clients. You'll be working within an appropriately equipped consulting space, alongside experienced Division 1 RNs to provide high quality assessment and care. 

  • Undertake full face-to-face assessments (including ECG) of patients with acute injury or illness. This includes adult and paediatric patients

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Data Entry Assistant to support Private Surgical Bookings over the busy November–December period.

This position is for an immediate start and may be suitable for a university student studying medicine or a related field who wants to gain experience in healthcare administration.
Australian work authorisation is required for this position.

About the Role

We are looking to hire someone with extensive experience in Private Surgical or Anaesthetic bookings. You will have previously worked in a private hospital booking office or for an Anaesthetist, and understand the importance of accuracy and professionalism when managing patient and procedural information.

A minimum of 1–2 years of experience in private surgical or anaesthetic bookings is required. However, any prior data entry experience will be considered an advantage.

Initially, the role will involve 20–30 hours per week of data entry to cover a staff member on maternity leave. The work will be performed during business hours only, with potential for additional hours depending on workload and performance.

Your part in our Buderim Hospital team  

The Loans Kit Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, tracking and monitoring all loan sets that come into our hospitals either from loan companies or the surgeon's personal instruments. 

  • Coordinate with the loan companies, sales representatives, surgeon's and the hospital theatre to ensure that all loan sets are delivered on time and contain all of the necessary instrumentation prior to the theatre requirements. 

  • Ensure that all incoming loan sets are registered and checked by following the hospital procedure and completion of appropriate forms. 

  • Maintain responsibility for ensuring that any loan sets received on the day of surgery or received for emergency surgery are fast tracked and management is advised of the process and progress of the set up. 

  • Ensure that all implants are checked in manually or by using the Magellan. 

  • Assist the CSSD department with sterilisation as required and directed.

Karuna-Maya Medicine is seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our friendly team in our Jan Juc clinic. This part-time role is essential in providing outstanding customer service and administrative support to our patients and healthcare providers.

What you'll be doing

  • Greeting and checking in patients, and managing patient flow

  • Scheduling appointments, managing the appointment calendar, and ensuring efficient patient bookings

  • Handling incoming phone calls, emails, and other patient inquiries in a professional and courteous manner

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and files

  • Assisting with general administrative tasks such as accounts, ordering supplies and maintaining the reception area

  • Collaborating with the clinical team to ensure seamless patient experiences

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 1-2 years of medical receptionist experience is required

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with patients, healthcare providers, and colleagues

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

  • Proficient in using medical practice management software and other digital tool

  • Experience with Best Practice medical practice management software is ideal

  • A genuine interest in the healthcare industry and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care

  • Australian citizens only are eligible for this position

  • Ability to cover leave (Annual and Personal)

Requirements for Joining Alliance Nursing:

  • AHPRA Registration: Must be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) to ensure you can deliver quality care.
  • Clearance Checks: A valid National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check (or the ability to obtain them).
  • Australian Work Rights: Proof of Australian working rights is essential as we build a strong team within the country.
  • Immunization: Proof of 2025 flu vaccination and at least 3 doses of the COVID-19 vaccination (preferred) to protect both patients and colleagues.
  • Infectious Disease Immunity: Evidence of immunity against specified infectious diseases, in line with Category A Healthcare worker requirements.
