About the role:

Reporting to the Operations Manager this position requires the applicant to efficiently and safely transport stock to various locations within the warehouse as required, put away received stock, pick and assemble goods, load trucks and maintain general tidiness of the facility. This is a physical position with some heavy lifting.

Your day will include:

  • Being competent with driving a forklift in a safe and professional manner.

  • Unload and load of trucks.

  • Checking off stock.

  • Pick and stack orders safely (in dry, chiller and freezer sections of the warehouse)

  • Working safely around other team members.

  • Following all company processes, procedures, policies and instructions

  • Lift, stack and unstack goods

  • Maintain product integrity

Skills and Experience:

  • A current forklift licence (essential)

  • Experience with high reach forklifts

  • Be physically fit as some heavy lifting is required

  • Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential

The Role

You’ll be the go-to for all things inventory, from troubleshooting discrepancies and coordinating inter-branch transfers to supporting store and 3PLs stocktake and optimising stock consolidation. Reporting to our Inventory Manager, you’ll be a key connector across our retail, logistics, and operations teams, making sure our Honeys have what they need, when they need it.

A Day in the Life of Our Inventory Coordinator Involves…

  • Coordinating stock movements between stores and 3PL partners, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Being the liaison between stores and logistics teams to resolve issues and maintain smooth stock flow
  • Executing consolidation plans to optimise inventory across locations
  • Supporting and guiding retail teams during stocktakes and cycle counts
  • Actioning OMS rejection adjustments and investigating root causes to prevent future disruptions
  • Managing IBT (inter-branch transfer B2B & B2C) processes and ensuring discrepancies are resolved
  • Processing stock corrections and system adjustments to maintain inventory accuracy
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to continuously improve inventory control processes
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, because communication is everything

  • Experience in inventory control and third party logistics coordination
  • Confident using inventory management systems (NetSuite experience is a plus!

MND Victoria is dedicated to providing the best possible support for people living with motor neurone disease (MND). We have an extensive library of assistive technology (disability equipment) which is loaned to people with MND across the state of Victoria. 

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in a varied and essential role that combines both cleaning/maintenance and delivery/collection of assistive technology, such as electric beds and wheelchairs. This role will involve cleaning and conducting basic maintenance on equipment and assisting with deliveries and collections supporting the overall efficiency of our warehouse operations. Training about the equipment, and its proper handling will be provided. 

The successful applicant will have: 

  1. A current driver’s licence and ability to safely drive a small van (car licence) to deliver assistive technology across Victoria  

  2. An ability to handle and work safely with a variety of assistive technology (or learn how to!) 

  3. Knowledge of safe work practices.  

  4. Highly developed interpersonal communication skills and be a great team player 

  5. A “can do”, flexible approach  

  6. A Certificate III in Electrical Engineering and/or Electrical Test and Tag Certification (desirable but not essential)
