The Role
As a Casual Distribution Centre (DC) Assistant, you will:
Focus on picking and packing customer orders with efficiency, accuracy, and with great attention to detail
Contribute to daily operations of the DC
Work well in a team environment with a flexible, can-do attitude
Be willing to perform a variety of tasks to support smooth DC operations
Be physically active, with lifting and moving of items required
Previous DC experience is a bonus, but full training will be provided.

The Role: A Dynamic 50/50 SplitThis is not your average warehouse job. It's a balanced split between serving customers directly and managing core stock duties.
Customer Service & Sales (50%)Assist customers professionally, both in-person and over the phone.
Manage daily invoicing and light administrative tasks using a computer system.
Ensure the product display and customer service areas are well-maintained and organized.
Safely assist with loading and unloading products for customers.
Conduct accurate stocktakes and inventory management.
Handle gas bottles up to 20kg (physical fitness required).
Prepare and tag bottles accurately for outbound deliveries.
The ideal candidate is a great communicator with a proactive, positive attitude who is comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team.
Essential RequirementsA current Forklift (LF) Licence is mandatory.
A few years of recent experience in a warehouse or yard environment.
Proven ability to use computers for administration and invoicing.
Physical fitness to pass a pre-employment medical screening.
The ability to pass a mandatory police check.

Your Role as Driver Trainer
As the Driver Trainer for Community Transport Service (CTS), your role is pivotal in ensuring that community members have access to safe and reliable transportation services. You will work closely with a team of volunteers and oversee and be responsible for managing the fleet of vehicles used to provide transportation services to community members in need whilst maintaining a focus on safety and compliance which will contribute significantly to the success of our service.
You’ll enable community members to travel safely with greater independence by:
Developing and delivering training programs for volunteer drivers, covering safety, customer service, vehicle care and emergency procedures
Overseeing vehicle fleet maintenance to ensure all vehicles are safe, clean, and roadworthy
Supporting the Senior Coordinator with additional duties as required
Coordinating regular inspections, maintenance, and accurate record-keeping of the fleet
Staying up to date with industry standards and implement improvements to enhance service delivery
What We’re Looking For
Business related qualification and relevant experience; or significant relevant work experience.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience communicating with aged care and people living with a disability.
Well-developed people and relationship skills, with the ability to participate as a part of a team sharing information and supporting others, contributing to a positive work environment, and projecting a professional image.
Commitment to safety, compliance, and upholding high standards in fleet and volunteer management
Proactive problem-solving attitude with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
A Valuable Addition, Yet Not a Must-Have!
A general knowledge and understanding of the human service sector.
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment would be highly regarded.
Prior experience in driver training, volunteer management or fleet management is highly beneficial.
