The role & responsibilities:
Delivering exceptional customer service in-store, over the phone, and via email
Promoting and selling home healthcare and mobility products and services
Preparing quotes and processing invoices
Responding to inbound customer enquiries
Maintaining a welcoming and supportive environment for all customers
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Outstanding customer service skills and a genuine passion for helping others
Previous experience, knowledge, or interest in the home healthcare equipment & mobility industry (preferred but not essential)
Familiarity with NDIS and Aged Care Funding Programs (an advantage but not required)
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong time management and organisational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
A positive, enthusiastic attitude and reliable work ethic
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Safe manual handling techniques

The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced casual Retail Sales Assistant to join our team in our Lorne store!
Responsibilities will include:
Provide an exceptional customer experience, through authentic and meaningful interactions with our customers
Demonstrating strong product knowledge to assist customers in making the best product choice
Collectively achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIS
Support other team members to ensure business goals are met
Contributing to the overall presentation of the store through merchandising and general housekeeping
Processing and replenishing stock
Assist in the implementation of promotional & visual merchandising initiatives
Show initiative and be a great team player
What are we looking for?
Strong experience working in a fashion retailer or a customer service environment
A genuine love and understanding of our brand
The ability to deliver exceptional customer service, creating a memorable experience and understanding our customer needs
You will have outstanding communication skills
Strong sales and negotiation skills
A 'can do', hands on style
A proven ability to integrate and become a valued team member
You are passionate about all things fashion with great visual merchandising and styling skills
Availability to work Monday 9am - 5pm and Sunday 9am - 5pm. Approximately 12-15 hours a week
Flexibility to work increased shifts as required (peak periods and covering leave of team members)

About the role
Bupa Optical Camberwell + Oakleigh store is looking for a new member to join our wonderful team.
This is a customer service and retail sales role within a corporate optical store. Based at our Camberwell & Oakleigh store you will become a key part of this solid performing store, surrounded by a dedicated team and supportive leader. Working with designer brands like Tom Ford, YSL, Prada and Gucci you can offer the best products in the market whilst delivering exceptional service to our customers.
This position will be offered as a casual opportunity!
About you
You will have solid customer service and sales experience ideally gained from within an optical, or high performing retail store.
