The Standard Market Company is a premium retail destination known for our gourmet food and exceptional service. We’re passionate about fresh, quality produce and creating memorable customer experiences – and now we’re looking for enthusiastic Casual Deli Customer Service Assistants to bring that same passion to our busy Ferry Road Markets store at The Brickworks Centre, Southport.

Immediate start with approx. 25–30 hours per week (weekends essential).

What You’ll Be Doing:
Delivering outstanding customer service with a smile – packaging products, handling payments, and answering customer queries.
Preparing food, including cooking gourmet chickens in our rotisserie oven.
Slicing smallgoods and preparing delicious deli items such as cheeses, chocolates, olives, and meats.
Merchandising and presenting products beautifully to entice customers.
Taking on physical tasks, including lifting and stocking.
What We’re Looking For:
Previous customer service experience (essential).
Background in food handling or preparation (highly regarded).
Reliable, hardworking, and flexible – available weekdays and weekends.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
