Key Responsibilities

·        Drive the work truck to pick up supplies, materials, and run tip runs

·        Keep the site safe, clean, and organised

·        Provide an extra set of hands for larger or more physical jobs

·        Follow instructions carefully and ask questions when unsure

·        Adhere to all WHS policies and safe work practices

About the role
Working under minimal supervision an SA Power Networks Motor Mechanic is responsible for the repair, maintenance and legislative inspections of SA Power Networks vehicles, plant (EWP’s and Cranes) and other associated equipment. Take control of your own workday and manage tasks such as, but not limited to advanced fault finding, hydraulic & diesel maintenance/repairs, providing technical support and advice to leaders and staff across the business regarding motor mechanic matters and fitting of new or existing equipment to vehicles. The successful candidate may be required to travel around the state which may involve staying overnight/s (LAFHA paid & accom. provided) and participate in an availability and / or shift roster.
