About the Opportunity
ASC is seeking Senior Electrical Designers to join our Platform Design team, supporting both the Collins Class Submarine (CCSM) Life of Type Extension (LOTE) Program and the Upgrades & Updates (U&U) Program. These roles offer the chance to lead and contribute to the integration of new and revised electrical designs across a wide range of submarine systems.
As a senior member of the team, you will apply your advanced electrical design expertise to deliver high-quality engineering outputs, mentor junior staff, and collaborate across disciplines to support the delivery of complex engineering solutions.

About the role
Oz Tac Engineering is seeking a highly experienced Workshop Manager to lead our production team in Gympie, QLD. As the Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient and high-quality production to meet the needs of our clients. This is a full-time permanent position based in our Gympie facility.
What you'll be doing
· Supervise and manage a team of fabricators, welders, machinist and other workshop personnel.
· Oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications.
· Monitor staff performance and constantly review training needs.
· Maintain equipment according to the set schedule.
· Ensure that staff work within company policies and guidelines.
· Work closely with the production manager to assist in the development of production schedules and shift planning.
· QA/QC checks, ensuring compliance with documents.
