About the role

We are seeking an experienced Foreman to join our dynamic Landscape Construction team at Eureka Landscapes on the Sunshine Coast in Caloundra, Queensland. This is a full-time, permanent role that will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of our landscape construction projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Supervising and directing a team of landscape construction workers to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards

  • Coordinating the activities of subcontractors and ensuring their work aligns with project requirements

  • Monitoring project progress, identifying and resolving any issues that arise, and providing regular updates to the project manager

  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

  • Assisting with the preparation and processing of project documentation, including timesheets, material requisitions, and progress reports

  • Providing hands-on support and guidance to the construction team as needed

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Foreman or Supervisor in the landscape construction industry

  • Thorough understanding of landscape construction techniques, materials, and equipment

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications

Heidelberg Materials are currently seeking a DIDO/FIFO or local Relief Plant Operative (Batcher)/Agitator Driver to join our team in Moranbah Concrete Plant. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about safety, hold a strong work ethic and are results focused. Effective communication and a willingness to go the extra mile for our customers is essential.

Financials:

  • For locals, you will receive rental assistance.

  • For FIFO we will fly you in from Brisbane Airport.

  • In addition to your wage, you will receive a living away from allowance, plus accommodation.

  • 2 weeks on 1 week off roster.

About the role:

  • Drive reliable and well-maintained equipment

  • Deliver concrete to our customers

  • Operate and maintain a concrete agitator truck

  • Go through a 10-day training program.

  • Most days will start at 7am-3pm and drivers can do up to and over 10 hours per day, and around 50 - 55 hours per week.

  • You will be dealing with lots of different personalities every day, so you need to be comfortable interacting with people you haven't met before.

  • We provide you with cutting edge technology, to not only keep you safe whilst driving, but also to help you map your routes and keep track of your loads.

About you:

  • Batching and Agitator experience preferred

Working as part of a skilled and collaborative crew, the Stabiliser Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining a Wirtgen stabiliser on road construction and rehabilitation projects across Adelaide and regional South Australia. Approximately half of the work will be regional, with travel allowances and penalties provided.
