Group Leaders:

As a Group Leader, you'll coordinate and oversee group activities, ensuring a safe, fun, and educational environment. You'll manage daily routines, organise engaging projects, and support children in their learning journeys. Leadership and organisational skills are key in this role.

Must have or working towards Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, with experience in a similar role.

Assistants:

Assistants play a crucial role in supporting the room environment. You'll assist with daily activities, provide individual attention to children, and help maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere.

Must have a passion for working with young children and a willingness to learn. Hold or working towards Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.

Reporting to the Access and Inclusion Manager, the Senior Coordinator will:

• Produce and deliver capacity development activities and resources specific to supporting students with disability in coursework.
• Support faculty teams in implementing timely reasonable adjustments and inclusive practices to ensure equity in participation.
• Support faculty teams to partner with students with disability and establish communities of practice and working groups.
• Attend faculty meetings, planning days, committees and working groups as required.
• Evaluate the impact, effectiveness and sustainability of reasonable adjustments and inclusive practices within a faculty, school or course.
• Contribute to the development and review of Student Services and Student Access and Inclusion operational plans, policies, procedures and services, and lead designated projects related to teaching and learning.
• Ensure the implementation of all University and Government policies relevant to equal opportunity, occupational health and safety, risk management, staff development and performance review.                                                                                                                                       

To be successful, you’ll have:

• Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications with extensive relevant experience, or extensive experience and management expertise, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education and training.
• Experience working with people with disability and/or lived experience.
• Experience with high-level negotiations and excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of Disability Standards for Education and Disability Discrimination legislation.
• Ability to develop and deliver information, resources and training to build the capacity of others.
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members and key partners to achieve outcomes.

Must be flexible to work between 7:00am and 5:00pm as required.

 About the role

• Respond to all family enquiries (phone, email, social media) within 24 hours

• Make outbound calls to follow up leads and convert to bookings/enrolments

• Manage and maintain CRM records and waiting lists

• Schedule and follow up on centre tours

• Support families through the full enrolment process and collect required documentation

• Meet and exceed weekly and monthly KPIs and enrolment targets

About you

• Proven experience in a sales or customer service role (childcare experience a bonus!)

What you’ll be doing:

Walking into your centre you’ll smile, as the early morning sun shines over our beautiful nature escape. When the door opens, you’ll smell the fresh home-style meals and feel the community spirit. You’ll lead the close-knit team of educators, to ensure our children enjoy a safe, hygienic, and inspiring environment. You’ll promote ‘School ReadY’, maintain high quality programs, manage compliance, and truly engage with our wonderful children and families. You’ll be great in this role if you…

• Have infectious enthusiasm and passion in early years education and care
