About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Mechanical Engineer- Mechanical trade available at our processing site in Wagga, NSW. As an Apprentice, you will be supporting with the maintenance of production systems and machines within the site, this includes Mechanical work, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and Welding.
You will be a full-time employee right from the start, earning a wage + super with occasional overtime, penalty rates + other great benefits!

What we need
As a result of targeted growth in the Gympie and Sunshine Coast region, OCE is seeking a Site Engineer for immediate start to be based out of our office in Gympie.
Your responsibilities will include:
Site-based Quality Management including Inspection & Test Plans.
Liaising with our Clients on a daily basis to report progress & troubleshoot problems.
Assisting the project Management team with job costing, external and internal reporting, project planning, and programming.
Materials procurement and control.
Offaly Civil operates under a third-party accredited management system, thus the right candidate will be required to help implement Quality, Safety & Environmental processes to ensure our operations both comply with legislative requirements and continually improve.
Providing estimating and quantity surveying support.
Producing and collating site documentation.
The ideal candidate will have:
A Civil Engineering or Construction Management Bachelor’s degree or other relevant tertiary qualification.
Excellent written & oral communication skills.
Proficiency with the use of MS Word, Excel & Outlook.
Sound knowledge of the Australian Civil construction industry.
Previous experience working on Water and Sewer projects is highly desirable.
A Driver's License is a must. OCE will provide a vehicle to the successful candidate.
Two professional referees
This is a site-based role initially working in the Gympie area; however, the successful candidate may be expected to service our regional projects from time to time.
