Our clients based in Ingleburn have opportunities for production workers packing items into boxes on a conveyor line. This is a fast paced role that requires accuracy and strong attention to detail.
This position offers Monday to Friday on call work for day shift with an immediate start.
Please note: this is not a warehouse role, it is a food manufacturing production role
Day Shift: 5am - 1pm
This role will include, but is not limited to:
Packing of products on a fast-paced conveyor line into boxes .
Stacking finished goods onto pallets.
Shrink wrapping and labelling.
Cleaning manufacturing equipment to HACCP standards.
Lifting up to 20kg.
This role requires:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Available to commit to shift hours as above.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy and communication skills.
Previous GMP experience: in food, pharma or relevant environments.
Ability to meet our selection and interview standards.

About the role
We have a rare opportunity for a band new Extrusion Machine Operator available to start immediately or if preferred, in the New Year at our Smithfield manufacturing facility. This role will be working a continuous 28 shift-based roster, (day shift 6am to 6pm and night shift 6pmt to 6am)
You will have some relevant experience in operating extrusion machines but equally important is your willingness to learn new skills and your desire to apply them constructively and safely as a member of a supportive and collaborative team. Ideally you will have previous experience controlling the process or operating machinery, in a manufacturing environment (manual, integrated and high-tech automated operations), where safety, quality and teamwork is paramount.
What will you do?
Operate the material handling and blend systems, extrusion lines and down-stream equipment to established conditions and ensure pipe is packed to required standards and specifications
Monitor and maintain the quality of pipe throughout the manufacturing process
Continuously strive to achieve targets related to the production of pipe to meet business needs in a safe and efficient manner
Work as part of a team to create a culture of collaboration and embed recognised best practice and continuous improvement from across the manufacturing industry
Work positively and proactively with other functions across the site, supporting an integrated and engaged operational workplace.
About you
Must have a current Forklift Licence, own transport and driver’s licence
Experience in FMCG/continuous batch manufacturing/heavy industrial operations or related manufacturing industries, with high-speed continuous operations, including automation
Mechanical aptitude with solid literacy and numeracy skills
Strong commitment to following work site procedures, understanding of safety work practices, and demonstrated risk awareness
High level of manual dexterity, trouble shooting ability and solutions focused, as you will take ownership of operation and running a machine.
Have a can-do attitude, are flexible, adaptable and a team player who enjoys collaborating
Commitment to established shift rosters and overtime opportunities

The Role....
Reporting to the Shift Supervisors, you will be responsible for competently performing all job functions required by an operator which include:
Multi skilled to operate various production equipment as required throughout Manufacturing;
Follow BOM’s and routing's including the use of hand tools etc to assist in each specific job;
Conduct quality inspections at regular intervals;
Completing hourly and shift output paperwork;
Be multi-skilled operating flexibly between teams and shifts as required;
Housekeeping is a key part of the role ensuring equipment and areas are clean and kept tidy at all times; and
Effective time management is also a key criteria.
The role is quite physical and does require repetitive lifting due to the nature and size of components being manufactured.
Experience in operating Walkie Stackers, trolleys and pallet trucks will be looked at favourably.
Forklift (High Risk license) desirable but not essential.
Positions will be available across the 3 shifts:
Hours of Work:
7.00am to 3.00pm Day Shift
3.00pm to 11.00pm Afternoon Shift
11.00pm to 7.00am Night Shift

Oversee and manage the operation of machinery and equipment used in the production of concrete at the plant.
Operate and monitor automated systems to accurately dispense materials and ensure consistent concrete production.
Customer service, ensure that all enquiries are managed in an efficient, professional and respectful manner
Placing orders for customers and internal stakeholders and managing stock holdings
Conduct regular maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of batching machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimise downtime.
