About the Role
You’ll be part of a professional team responsible for a wide range of underground production and development activities; charging, bogging, services, and ground support, while maintaining a high standard of safety and efficiency.
Our clients operate modern fleets including RCT Remote CAT R2900/R1700, Sandvik automine LH621/LH621i, Epiroc autonomous Scooptram, and Normet Charmec systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform production and development charge up in line with mine plans and explosive safety standards.
Safely handle explosives, initiating systems, and detonators (BUEL/UHL compliant).
Operate LHDs, service trucks, and ancillary plant for bogging, haulage, and general mine support.
Assist with services, paste fill, and ground support tasks as needed.
Contribute to site safety meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
Skills & Qualifications
3–5 years’ underground mining experience across production or development roles.
NSW Shotfirer (BUEL) Licence and Security Clearance (Underground Handling Licence).
VOCs for underground CAT/Sandvik/Epiroc(ATlas Copco) LHD and charge up equipment.
Strong working knowledge of mine safety systems and ground control practices.
Current underground medical, mine induction, and driver’s licence.
Ability to work effectively in small teams with a proactive, safety-first mindset.
Multi skilled in bogging, service crew, or truck operations.
Hypercharge, First Aid, Working at Heights tickets advantageous.
Strong communication and reliability record.·

We have multiple opportunities available for Underground Truck Drivers at our residential Ballarat Mine Site.
Reporting to the Underground Shift Supervisor, your key responsibilities will be the safe and productive operation of underground trucks, supporting underground mining operations, and completing all required safety and operations documentation and records.
About You:
To be successful in this role you will meet the following criteria:
Mandatory:
Australian Driver's License
High standard of safe behaviour, with a strong team focus & work ethic
Ability to comply with and follow all instructions and directives pertaining to safety and safe work procedures
Ability to work underground
Ability to work with minimal direct supervision, in a small team environment.
Ability to complete multiple tasks, in a dynamic production environment

Commitment to a respectful and cooperative work environment, in line with all company policies, procedures and expectations
Desirable:
Previous experience driving heavy vehicles (mining is highly desirable, construction, earth-moving, or semi-rigid)
MR/HR license

Previous experience with JSA's, Stepback's, Take 5's etc
Hours & Roster:
30 hours per week minimum
Day shift only- 7am start
Casual rate on offer is inclusive of all benefits including casual loading & public holidays
