• Fly in fly out (FIFO) experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct preventative and general maintenance (PMs) on fixed plant equipment
• Perform breakdown repairs and troubleshooting in collaboration with other trades

ABOUT THE ROLE

Due to company growth, Mammoet are on the hunt for seasoned Heavy Haulage Truck Drivers to join the Port Hedland Transport team travelling to sites across the Pilbara region. 

Our truck drivers are the ones who keep projects moving. Making good use of your logistics skills, you will be playing a crucial role in ensuring things run to schedule. That long, challenging routes are safely negotiated and that cargo arrives on site when is it needed. 

You'll be working with some fantastic equipment, including a range of new state-of-the-art prime movers, trailers and platforms. Become apart of a dedicated Transport team who are focused on teamwork and success. 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Taking responsibility for executing route plans and schedules

• Line haul trips to all WA Regions 

• Transporting various oversize, over wide and high loads

• Heavy cargo moves onsite

• Drive semi-trailers, drop decks, extendable trailers and low loaders

• Performing periodic preventative and routine minor maintenance, inc greasing and flat tire changes

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• Experience with 100t-200t floats

• Experience with low loaders 50t to 100t 

• Evidence of experience in a similar role ideally within any of the following sectors: Civil engineering, construction, renewables, oil and gas, offshore, ports and mining

• Preferred experience with platform/modular trailers 

• Excellent load restraint understanding and skills

• MC Driver's License minimum

About the role

We are looking for an Operations Centre (OC) Smelting Analyst - Aluminium Reduction who will continuously monitor and support our Aluminium smelters within the Rio Tinto Pacific region.

The role will ensure rapid and standardized support to manage process deviations and maintain operational stability of each PacOps Smelter. This will be achieved through a suite of systems and processes, including the Vigie software that enables analysis of process data to generate smart alarms and escalations.

This position is an excellent opportunity to be an integral part of the OC team that has a strong safety, operational and problem-solving focus. You will work a 12.5hr day/night 4, 5, 5 shift roster in the Brisbane CBD and report to the Operations Centre Superintendent - Smelting. You will have the following responsibilities:

• Monitoring (24 hours a day, 7 days a week) of all the reduction lines operation and processes within our smelters (Pacific Operations)
• Identification of operational / technical instabilities, perform diagnosis, and prioritize actions through collaboration and engagement with site to ensure that intervention is carried out in a timely manner.
• Proactively engage remotely with technical teams, supervisors, and process controllers including involvement in technical / toolbox meetings (OC & sites).
• Embrace a standardized approach to work promoting effective and positive communication to deliver operational excellence.
• Conduct site visits to improve knowledge and foster collaboration with our Site teams

Job Description

As a Hydrogeologist, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including but not limited to:

• Conduct field investigations and site surveys for groundwater and geological mapping projects, including preliminary surveys in collaboration with engineers, mineral scientists, and prospectors.

• Perform detailed analyses of rock, soil, water, and mineral samples using optical, electronic, chemical, and mechanical techniques.

• Investigate subsurface geology and aquifer properties through geophysical and hydrogeological surveys, including seismic wave propagation, gravitational and magnetic field measurements, and drill hole logging.

• Assess the impacts of natural processes (e.g., erosion, sedimentation, seismic activity) on surface and subsurface water systems.

• Study rock strata, sediment layers, and fossil content to understand geological history and its relevance to hydrogeological behaviour and commercial application.

• Prepare and review technical documentation, including laboratory reports, scientific papers, and consultancy briefs for clients.

• Supervise and mentor junior staff on sampling protocols, laboratory methods, and data reporting standards.

• Provide expert input into environmental impact assessments and resource development feasibility studies.

• Use modelling tools to forecast aquifer behaviour, groundwater flow, and contaminant transport for client reporting and project development.

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental legislation in all aspects of field and laboratory work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant consulting or mining industry experience

• Proficiency in the use of hydrogeological and geophysical instruments, GIS, and modelling software.

• Excellent communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to write technical reports and present findings to clients and stakeholders.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team under the supervision of senior geoscientists.
