About the Role:

We are seeking a Finance Business Partner with drive & direction, to support the operational GMs of this diverse division.  Working within the finance team but supporting non finance stakeholders, you will be sharp, outgoing, focused on future uplift.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee preparation of regional business unit reporting;

  • Ongoing analysis of BU’s financial performance, including tracking to budget and prior year;

  • Partner with the operations team and provide value-adding, data-driven insights on operating performance and potential savings or other business improvements;

  • Work closely with regional managers to analyse, understand and explain monthly financial results and assist with their reporting;

  • Supporting commercial decisions through provision of financial scenario analysis/modelling (feasibilities);

  • Review work papers, journals and reports prepared by accounting team members;

  • Drive and assist with various projects in relation to Finance process improvement initiatives;

  • Assist with implementing and ongoing management of new software to improve speed and accuracy of financial reporting, forecasting and treasury reporting;

  • Assist with the year‐end audit and taxation compliance including working with external auditors;

About You:

You will be a CPA/ CA qualified, ideally with experience in health services or FMCG, strong decision-making skills, good range of technical capability around budgeting, analysis and reporting, nature ability to connect with stakeholders and influence decision making.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quarry Operations Manager to join our team at Local Mix Concrete Pty Ltd in Geelong, Victoria. As the Quarry Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our quarry operations, ensuring efficient and compliant production to support our concrete manufacturing business. This is a full-time position based in Geelong.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the quarry, including production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and productivity

  • Monitor and analyse quarry performance metrics to identify areas for improvement

  • Lead and manage a team of quarry operators and support staff

  • Collaborate with the concrete manufacturing team to align operations and meet customer demands

  • Maintain accurate records and reporting on all quarry activities

What we're looking for

  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting to drive continuous improvement
