Key Responsibilities:

• Design and detailing of truck bodies and chassis using Solidworks

• Detailing fabrication drawings and BOM creation

• Driving the truck building department and registering of new truck body designs to NHVR

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Proficiency with 3D and 2D packages (Mainly SolidWorks)

• Experience working in similar industry/department considered highly advantageous

• Demonstrated experience in the preparation of workshop drawings

• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings

• Experience in mechanical structural design and detailing

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review civil engineering drawings for residential and low-rise developments, including structural assessments such as load calculations, foundation design and drainage layouts.

• Use engineering design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar) to produce and support technical documentation.

Our Cairns MRO facility provides high quality MRO, Avionics and Design Engineering for international and national customers predominantly onsite. As a key member of our maintenance, repair and overhaul team you will safely and efficiently execute Structures and composite maintenance activities. The Aircraft Maintenance Engineer- Structures is responsible for performing a broad range of aircraft repairs and modifications on aircraft maintained by the company whilst ensuring safe work practices.

Your Responsibilities

• Ensure that the maintenance is carried out in accordance with OEM and other approved publications/instructions using approved parts supplied from approved sources.
• Make certain that you have been correctly trained and authorised to carry out the work assigned to them and that the procedures laid down in the Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) are followed.
• Carry out repairs and modifications at the general direction of LAMEs or other authorised delegates in accordance with approved data
• Assist to carry out inspection and maintenance if required
• Assist to ensure all entries and certifications for work undertaken is completed and certified;
• Actively participate in the Quality and Safety Management System applications.
• Ensure OH & S/WHS requirements are adhered to.
