Trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Fitter / Plant Mechanic
Strong diagnostics and repair capabilities across heavy plant (CAT, Komatsu, Cummins etc.)

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for the safe and efficient operation of an Underground Bogger operator to achieve development and / or production targets each shift within the mine plan.
KEY DUTIES AND TASKS
Safely, efficiently, and productively operate underground loader machinery.
Conduct comprehensive pre-start inspections on equipment prior to operation.
Collaborate closely with Underground Shift Supervisor and cross shift operator for equipment handovers.
Follow and interpret mine plan instructions, profiles, and ground support patterns for high-quality development within schedule.
Utilize good judgment and innovation to solve problems and execute tasks while ensuring loader safety.
Any other tasks as required.
ABOUT YOU
Previous experience as a Bogger Operator. (Essential)
Current unrestricted “C” Class Western Australian manual drivers’ license. (Essential)
Current Western Australian DGSC. (Essential)
Current Work Safely at Heights certificate. (Essential)
Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge of underground equipment. (Essential)
Current West Australian Shot-firing license (Desirable).
Senior First Aid Certificate (Desirable).
JHA trained (Desirable).
Underground Metalliferous Mining Certificate II, III or IV (Desirable).

Subject: Position Description
Knowledge of and ability to operate the Water Treatment Plant including use of reagents.
Daily monitoring - recording of water treatment data, rainfall, bund and river levels.
Re-fuelling dewatering pumps.
Vehicle and mobile equipment pre-start checks.
Assist Mechanic with mechanical work and fitting when required.
Assist contracted technicians onsite as required i.e. electricians, diesel fitters etc.
IT Loader and Backhoe experience/licenses desirable.
Site security including fence line checks.
Basic maintenance and repairs.
Control room operations.
Assist local fire brigade with hazard reduction burns around site.
Assist with maintenance of fire breaks and road/drain maintenance.
Check and maintain TSF Airwell recovery pumps as instructed.
Rubbish removal from around site.
Collection of water samples for analysis and recording data.
Ability to learn how to calibrate water monitoring probes and equipment.
Weed identification and management including use of poisons and weed spraying.
Competent use of computer including email, saving files, internet and communications.
Use safety equipment as provided and instructed.
Conduct Job Safety Analysis and Job Hazard Analysis for tasks being undertaken.
Report all issues on Daily Shift reports as directed.
Other duties as instructed.

Norton Gold Fields is seeking an Underground Truck Operator who will work cohesively as a valuable team member with our underground mining crew.
We are seeking a Underground Truck Operator who will work in a safe and efficient manner to achieve development and / or production targets each shift within the mine plan. Our Underground Truck Operator encompasses health and safety in all their tasks during their operations to support underground development and production operations, truck and related equipment inspections and care and uphold high stands of housekeeping.
KEY DUTIES AND TASKS
Conduct thorough pre-start inspections on equipment before operation.
Collaborate with Underground Shift Supervisor and cross shift operator for equipment handovers.
Interpret and follow mine plans and instructions accurately.
Safely operate underground equipment, ensuring efficiency and productivity.

At least 12 months experience operating Underground trucks such as Toro or Elphinstone trucks or similar (Essential)

What you will be doing:
We are currently seeking an experienced Dump Truck Operators/Multiskilled Operators with 12 months experience in mining. You will be operating Komatsu 730/830's, Electric Haul truck Hitachi 4400, Terex 3300, Cat 795 or Mechanical Cat 785/789/793/797 , D10, D11 Dozers , 16,18,24 Graders and Excavators mining experience required. Ability to contribute and work positively in a team environment and be able to provide a clear drug and alcohol test.

• Signed competencies/skills list to operate machinery
