The Batcher has excellent career development potential with the opportunity to learn about concrete, quarry materials, plant operation, concrete batching, scheduling, and logistics whilst working in the construction industry.

If you do have batching or concrete experience that's great but it is not a pre-requisite.
In your new role with us, you will be:
Overseeing the operation of a concrete batch plant
Operating a front-end loader (FEL)
Regularly interacting with customers, taking orders & scheduling deliveries
Working in a high performing team, collaborating with other local plants to deliver positive outcomes for Hanson and the customer
Able to demonstrate safety and show coach and mentoring potential
Ensure all products adhere to strict quality requirements
Monitoring all plant and equipment, scheduling & conducting maintenance as required
Managing maintenance & production tasks, which includes some level of manual handling

We are seeking a skilled Senior Surveyor to join our clients civil contracting team on the Sunshine Coast, QLD. This role is central to delivering high‑quality subdivision land development projects and offers a balance of site and office work. You will oversee surveying operations, ensure accuracy in data collection and reporting, and work closely with engineers, project managers, and site teams to achieve project outcomes.
As Senior Surveyor, you will take ownership of survey planning and execution, manage workflows, and provide technical guidance to junior surveyors. You will be responsible for maintaining compliance with industry standards, preparing detailed reports, and ensuring that subdivision projects are delivered efficiently and to specification. The position requires strong technical expertise, leadership ability, and a commitment to precision.
