As an Engineer in water and Sewer, you will assist with the development and maintenance of long-term financial models and development and review of asset elements of BVSC’s Delivery Plan, Operational Plan and Water & Sewerage Asset Management Plans. You will also administer works programs including setting of works standards, inspections, systems monitoring, reporting and other related activities

You will also support and perform work at our nearby Kemerton Plant Located in the Kemerton Industrial area.
This position will be offered on a full time, permanent basis, working a 38-hour week compressed into a 9-day fortnight, every second Friday off!
Please note, there is no camp facility onsite and successful applicants will need to live in the South West region.
The successful candidate will be integral team member in the successful planning, managing, execution and commissioning of strategic capital mechanical programs for Tronox Plants in accordance to Australian engineering codes and standards
The role will also require working closely and effectively with the Production, Maintenance and Technology & Improvement (T&I) departments to ensure the effective operation and maintenance of key equipment.

Provide a level of oversight for Governance & Compliance of Tronox corporate policies, procedures & work instructions in your area of responsibility. This will include generating new and updating existing standards / Data sheets / Specification documents as well as communicating requirements to key responsible people.
Ensuring optimal long term asset integrity and reliability of 2x plants by implementing long term asset management and reliability continuous improvement projects and programs.
Development and optimisation of Tronox systems / processes to improve business efficiency whilst at the same time, identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
About You
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
Experienced in supporting capital projects for mechanical systems and equipment. This includes managing scope, budget and schedule.
Managing project work scope packages within the project budget and schedule requirements.
Experienced in preparation of technical specifications, design reviews, scope of works and associated capital project documentation.
Working knowledge and experienced in current applicable Mechanical Engineering Standards and Codes in particular ASME, API and AS/NZ Standards relating to fixed and pressurised plant equipment.
Experienced in Operational readiness assessments applied to capital projects including development of equipment PM strategies and spare parts analysis.
High level of organisation, time and project management skills with the proven ability to multitask and operate effectively in a high pressure environment.
A strong communicator with excellent stakeholder management and engagement abilities.
Ability to work autonomously but also enjoys working in a dynamic team environment.

We are looking for a motivated individual who is solution focussed when it comes to building, maintaining and managing local roads. With your strong leadership skills, you will guide the team to consistently deliver excellent outcomes for our community and our team. You will also be responsible for the development of proactive and planned maintenance programs across the region, including but not limited to Council’s own road and stormwater networks, Council’s RMPC contract and DRFA programs when in effect.
Reporting to the Civil Works Manager, this position will have direct supervision and accountability of urban based teams delivering construction and maintenance programs. and provide essential guidance and oversight to the urban work groups.
