Night Shift Public Area Attendant:

  • Shifts will consist of working between Monday to Friday, with shifts commencing at midnight and running until 7:00am.
  • Clean and maintain the public amenities such as toilets, bathrooms, communal areas and paths.
  • General cleaning of university facilities accessed by students, teachers and visitors.
  • Consistent usage, transportation and recording of cleaning equipment and utilities.
  • Maintenance of cleaning records and adhering to safety and compliance standards.
  • Delivery of excellent customer service and positive communication to all customers.
  • Work autonomously with little supervision.

Minimum Criteria:

  • Experience in cleaning operations; domestic, commercial or hotel.
  • Reliable transport to and from site (due to the hours of work, no public transport is available).
  • National Police clearance, within 3 months of issue.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide high level cleaning with an eye for detail.
  • Self-motivated and can demonstrate initiative on the job.
