We're seeking a motivated self-starter with a growth mindset to become our Operations Coordinator – a key role assisting the General Manager in driving operations forward.
What You'll Do:
• Be responsible for material takeoff estimating and putting quotes together to drive new business
Candidates must demonstrate intermediate level material takeoff estimating skills.
Complete admin tasks, including ordering materials, trucks, and coordinating labour/resources.
• Liaise with the factory foreman and GM to deliver projects on time.
• Mix office-based work with occasional site visits for hands-on oversight.
Who You Are:
• Admin or Trade background in structural steel (e.g., boilermaking, welding) with solid knowledge of building/warehouse construction and the ability to complete material take offs.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in structural steel is required.
Australian work authorisation is required for this position.
• Above-average computer skills for efficient admin and coordination.
• Intelligent, proactive, and eager to learn new skills in a stable environment.
