The Position:
You’ll own and coordinate day-to-day freight operations, with a focus on service, efficiency and innovation.
You’ll be responsible for:
Coordinating full end-to-end air and sea freight operations (import/export)
Liaising extensively with customers and carriers
Preparing shipments for invoicing and ensuring accurate documentation
Supporting quotations and sales (where required)
Partnering with our product team to help build tools that improve your workflow and our customer experience
Managing interactions with shipping lines, airlines, and co-loaders
Skills & Experience
You’ll need:
At least 3 years’ experience as a freight operator or in a similar role
Strong coordination and record-keeping skills
Excellent organisation, communication and customer service
A collaborative mindset and the confidence to share ideas
Experience managing complex or high-value clients
Even better if you have:
A solid understanding of Incoterms
Experience across import/export operations (air and sea)

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for the forecasting, planning and day to day management incoming and outgoing client goods. Your role will consist of the following responsibilities (not limited to):
Receive client product and vehicles including storage, identification, photo’s and completion of receivals documentation in QMS.
As a despatch / receiving officer your role also includes identifying and placing client’s goods and vehicles into storage, producing a photographic records and completing various documentation, liaising with internal and external clients regarding receival dates of incoming goods and delivery dates of completed product to be despatched.
Despatch QMW goods to clients including booking of freight, creating of despatch documentation in QMS and updating of information in QMS after the goods have been despatched.
Liaise with internal and external clients regarding receival dates of incoming goods.
