This role is perfect if you enjoy autonomy, don’t mind working solo, and like the idea of taking ownership of your day. You’ll be provided with a fully stocked van, complete with all parts, and an Individual Training & Development Plan to help you build your skills and succeed.
About the RoleAs a Field Service Technician – Bus, you’ll play a key role in maintaining, repairing, and installing refrigeration systems on buses. This full-time role is based out of our workshop in Penrith, NSW, and includes a company vehicle. If you like being hands-on, solving problems, and working on-site with customers, this is a fantastic opportunity.
Day-to-day, you’ll be:
Carrying out preventative maintenance, repairs, and installations of bus air-conditioning units
Diagnosing and troubleshooting refrigeration issues
Installing new refrigeration systems and components
Keeping accurate records of all work completed
Delivering great customer service and building relationships with clients
Working safely and following all industry standards and regulations
Automotive mechanic / electrician experience (bus or transport industry experience is a bonus, but not essential)
Experience as a field service or refrigeration technician is ideal, but we’re open to training motivated mechanics ready for a change
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
Good communication skills to work with customers and colleagues
Current driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites

Fabrication & Welding & Prepping
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Operate welding equipment (MIG, TIG, ARC, Oxy) to fabricate and repair metal products.
Cut, shape, and prepare materials for welding.
Perform welding to meet Australian Standards
Quality Control
Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and visual quality.
Use measuring tools
Ensure all work meets company and customer specifications.
Safety & Maintenance
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures, including PPE requirements.
Maintain welding equipment, tools, and workspace in safe working condition.
Identify and report hazards or defects immediately.
General Workshop Duties
Assist with assembly, fitting, and other metal fabrication tasks as required.
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
Keep accurate job records and complete documentation where required.

About the role
Redrock maintenance is seeking an experienced Wall and Floor tiler to join our team on a casual basis in Broome, and the Kimberley, Western Australia. As a Wall and Floor tiler, you will be responsible for the installation and finishing of high-quality tiling work for residential and commercial properties. This is a hands-on role, and you will work as part of a skilled trades team to deliver exceptional results for our clients.
What you'll be doing
Prepare and install wall and floor tiles to a high standard
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Cut, fit and secure tiles using appropriate adhesives and grouts
Ensure the work area is clean, safe and well-organised
Communicate effectively with the project team and clients
Maintain accurate records and documentation
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Wall and Floor tiler, ideally with 3+ years' experience
Strong knowledge of tiling materials, tools, and techniques
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Current driver's licence
