About the role

Slump Dawg Millionaire Pty Ltd is seeking a qualified and experienced Windscreen Fitter to join our team in Pialba, Queensland. This is a casual position, with an oportunity to become permanent, offering flexibility and the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing automotive business.

What you'll be doing

• Expertly remove, repair and replace windscreens, side windows and rear windows on a variety of vehicles

• Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standard and in compliance with industry regulations

• Provide excellent customer service, communicating effectively with clients throughout the process

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are well-maintained

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our windscreen fitting services

What we're looking for

• Experience as a Windscreen Fitter, Preferred but NOT essential, with a proven track record of high-quality work

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team

• Flexibility to work a casual schedule

Job tasks and responsibilities

In this role you will be required to assist with a variety of duties including but not limited to:

• Asbestos Removal both A & B Class

• Use power tools and hand tools to strip out walls, ceiling, flooring, fittings etc

• Operate equipment and work safely in accordance with safety procedures

• Move and load waste material into trucks and/or bins

• Ability to turn up on time

Skills and experience

To be successful in securing a position with Zero Asbestos you must fit the following criteria:

• A current construction industry white card

• Able to pass a drug screening

• Must have a 'Can Do' positive attitude

• Ability to work to specific instructions

• Be able to work at a fast pace and in a team environment

• Have own boots (all other PPE will be provided)

• You may have your MR licence

• You may have an asbestos removal licence

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service both in-store and over the phone

• Actively promote and upsell automotive products and services, including tyres, servicing packages, and vehicle maintenance solutions

• Manage service bookings and keep customers updated throughout the day

• Liaise with the workshop team to coordinate repairs and maintenance

• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships

• Process payments and maintain accurate sales, receipts, and stock records

• Motivate and support team members to ensure smooth operations

• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards

About You

• Previous experience in automotive service or dealership sales roles essential

• Mechanical knowledge or light vehicle mechanics qualification (desirable)

• Electrical trade qualification or relevant engineering background (A Grade licence beneficial but not essential)
