The 3-month contract R&D/NPD chemist will be responsible for formulating and delivering new products to the market through planning and implementing development projects from concept through to full-scale production. 

Responsibilities include:
  • Identify market trends and drive product innovation.
  • Develop and reformulate products from concept to launch.
  • Collaborate with Sales & Marketing on insights and strategy.
  • Prepare lab samples and conduct stability/PET testing.
  • Assess packaging for quality and compatibility.
  • Oversee scale-up and pilot production batches.
  • Support manufacturing with troubleshooting and process improvements.

Skills & experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related discipline.
  • Experience in the development and formulation of cosmetics and personal care products is essential.

We are offering an exciting opportunity to join the Northern Midwifery Group Practice (MGP) team across Gawler and Kapunda. In this role, you will provide high-quality, person-centred midwifery care, supporting women throughout pregnancy, labour, birth, and the postnatal period within a collaborative MGP team. This model promotes continuity of care, allowing you to develop strong relationships with women by sharing a caseload and providing comprehensive support in a supportive team environment.

As part of the Northern MGP, you will deliver personalised, woman-centred care, working closely with midwives who share responsibilities and ensure consistent support. This approach empowers women to make informed choices, promotes safe, evidence-based care, and optimises outcomes for mothers and babies. You will work collaboratively with other health professionals to provide seamless care throughout the maternity journey, across both Gawler and Kapunda sites.

ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated MRI specialist with the ability to supervise a team.

Skills Required:

  • Demonstrated experience in MRI Radiography

You’ll work mostly online, with some in-person sessions, in a hybrid arrangement of roughly two days per week in the CBD office and the remainder from home. You’ll also have access to structured supervision, monthly leadership conversations, and clear development pathways in an organisation that values quality, collaboration and ongoing professional growth.

Your Duties will Include
  • Deliver high-quality psychological care to adults recovering from work-related and motor vehicle-related psychological injuries within chronic injury schemes.
  • Conduct clinical assessments, brief evidence-based therapy and treatment planning for around 6 clients per day, with reduced emphasis on lengthy report-writing.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team (including Exercise Physiologists and other mental health professionals) while enjoying autonomy over your clinical practice.

Requirements/ Skills
  • Experience in private practice and/or compensable injury settings (Workers Comp, motor vehicle accidents or similar).
  • Experience working with chronic psychological injury and functional recovery is highly preferred, including familiarity with insurer and referrer stakeholders.
  • Full AHPRA registration as a Psychologist (General or Clinical), with SIRA registration or eligibility to obtain it prior to commencement.

  • A recently completed Occupational Therapy degree and current (or pending) AHPRA registration.
