Calco Trusses and Timber is a proudly family-owned and operated prefab and timber supplier based in South Geelong. We’re currently seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to join our team. Interviews are underway now, with the successful candidate commencing in early January 2025.
About the Role
In this hands-on position, you will be responsible for:
Receiving and unloading supplier deliveries
Loading and unloading products onto trucks
Moving and organising stock within the yard
Feeding stock into saw production areas
Removing finished product from the production line and relocating in out yard
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings:
A current Forklift licence (essential)
A HR truck licence (preferred but not mandatory)
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Experience with timber or building products (advantageous but not essential)
Available to work Monday – Thursday 7.50am – 4.30pm, Friday 6.30am – 12.11pm

Our client is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead and support daily operations at their Darra, QLD site. This full-time, Monday–Friday role (6:30am–3:00pm) combines hands-on warehouse duties with leadership responsibilities to ensure efficiency, safety, and exceptional service standards.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supervise, coordinate, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve daily targets
• Ensure compliance with all WH&S and environmental requirements
• Oversee inventory management, including damage control and stock accuracy
• Use the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to improve operational performance
• Schedule and liaise with transport companies for incoming/outgoing freight
• Maintain machinery and ensure equipment pre-starts are completed
• Promote and maintain a clean, safe, compliant warehouse environment
• Prepare reports, lead toolbox meetings, and support continuous improvement

Operations Supervisor
Dyers Distribution is a family owned company who have been providing quality transport services since 1932. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team of dedicated professionals. Based at our Northern suburbs site, the position is full time. Excellent salary package is available to the successful applicant.
This role would be ideally suited to an ambitious and energetic person with sound logistics, distribution and experience ideally in the FMCG field. Your role would involve supervising a fleet of modern vehicles and subcontractors across South Australian sites. The task involves deliveries of ambient and refrigerated fast moving consumer goods to Distribution centres including metro & regional sites.
Reporting to the Operations Manager you would be responsible for:
• Supervising a team of regular and relief drivers
• DIFOT and in line with temperature control guidelines
• Supervising drivers delivering remotely
• Reverse Logistics
• Scheduling and allocation of jobs / orders / runs / loads utilising a TMS
• Liaising directly with Customers Transport Managers and Supervisors
• Maintaining delivery and driver schedules
• Utilising IT systems – GPS, temperature monitoring, TMS, HACCP etc.
• Administrative duties including TMS house keeping
• Coordinating scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and requests for repairs
• Team involvement with audits, driver training and implementing corrective actions
• Ensuring all company policies and procedures are followed, including conducting safety meetings, safety reporting, safety incident investigations and Toolbox talks
Preferred skills and qualifications:
• Previous experience in supervising a large distribution, multi-drop transport or distribution operation
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Understanding of COR requirements
• Excellent time management, prioritisation and organisational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with all levels within the organisation.
• Ability to lead and manage teams effectively
• Commercial acumen
• Strong knowledge of systems, processes and controls required to maintain operation excellence
• Excellent computer skills with an ability to use Microsoft office programs and the company's proprietary software
