About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Transport Company Manager to lead and oversee our fleet operations. This is a pivotal role focused on optimizing transport efficiency, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering outstanding service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
· Organising the purchase, maintenance, and servicing of transport vehicles, equipment, and fuel supplies.
· Liaising with clients to understand their requirements, providing expert advice on vehicle types, rental or purchase rates, customer obligations, and handling any complaints effectively.
· Receiving and managing orders and bookings while planning and implementing efficient transportation schedules.
· Ensuring that goods are stored and transported in conditions that maintain their quality and integrity.

· Maintaining accurate business records and preparing operational statements, reports, and performance metrics.

Due to our growth, the business has an immediate requirement for a Factory Production Manager to support our increase pipeline of work.
About the Role:
Manage the assembly staff to ensure that down time is kept to a minimum and maximum production efficiency is achieved.
Organize logistics, both within the factory area and liaising with external transport providers to ensure that the produced material arrives on site in a safe and cost-efficient manner on the arranged date.
Assist in the procurement and stock control of steel coils, consumables and PPE equipment for framing solutions across all the company's projects.
Work closely with the design/drafting, estimating and management teams to ensure that the designs produced for Light Gauge Steel (LGS) framing are free of errors and able to be efficiently manufactured.
Monitor, manage and promote safe methods of work in accordance with the company's Workplace Health & Safety policies.
About you:
Demonstrated experience in a production environment focused on construction detail, preferably for volume residential projects in QLD or NSW or relevant experience deemed to be equivalent.
A minimum of 5+ years of production management experience is required.
Good communication skills and high attention to detail.
A working knowledge of residential construction standards and processes and the National Construction Code, contract and sub-contract agreements, the construction supply chain and manufacturing standards.
The knowledge and ability to read and successfully comprehend architectural drawings, structural engineering, survey and other drawings to ensure that the required outcomes are achieved for all company projects
A strong understanding of the intricacies of the construction supply chain, trade and supplier engagement, client engagement and detailed and transparent reporting to management.
Have a solid understanding of the entire project lifecycle and the critical interaction between teams required to achieve successful project outcomes.
Happy to be busy all-day.
A current forklift licence is required to commence this role.

DAY SHIFT
4 x 10-hour roster, plus weekend overtime
Start time of 04:30am each day

Tasks involved:
Safe manoeuvring of heavy vehicle around tight loading docks and store fronts
Mandatory Prestart check's
Repetitive Electric pallet jack use
Hand unloading within food outlets and retail chains.
Complying with Micway Transport's policies, procedures and heavy vehicle legislation with mandatory training as required.
Thorough understanding of your role with the NHVR Rules & COR expectation
Skills required:

We’re looking for a MR delivery driver to join our service delivery team. This is a permanent, full-time position where you will spend your day delivering and collecting uniforms, linen, mats, and garments to our customers. You get to interact with a wide range of customers from hospitality, healthcare, food production and mining so every day is different, but you will have the opportunity to build a relationship with the various customers that you meet regularly.
You get to drive a MR truck each day as your mobile office. You will typically be on the road by 6am each morning and back to the depot by lunch time to drop off your gear and prep your truck for the following day of deliveries. Finish time is usually 2pm each day so you can enjoy the rest of your day with whatever commitments you may have.
If you want the comfort of the same route each day in the Service Driver role the hourly rate will be $35.63. No surprise, you will need to hold a valid MR driver’s license to do this job and good physical fitness.
