We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Rotating Transport Supervisor to join our dynamic cold logistics team. This unique role operates on a 4-days-on, 4-days-off schedule, offering an excellent work-life balance while providing consistent leadership and support across our transport operations.
You will oversee and coordinate the efficient and compliant movement of goods, supervise a team of drivers and loaders, and ensure operations run smoothly.
The Role:
Permanent Full Time Position
Rotating roster: 4 days on / 4 days off
12-hour shifts, start time 5:00am - finish time - 17:00pm
Competitive annual salary, superannuation paid above legislative requirements, 5 weeks of annual leave
Selection Criteria:
Previous experience in transport or logistics supervision.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Ability to adapt to a rotating schedule and provide consistent oversight.
Highly Desirable: Proven record in transport operational supervisory roles within retail/food delivery (major supermarket chains)
Essential: Sound analytical and computer skills, especially Excel
MUST HAVE: HC or MC driver's license class
Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and Work Health Safety (WHS) legislation
Knowledge of HACCP and NSW Food Safety
Experience with fatigue management or hold a current "Administer a fatigue risk management system - TLIF0006" qualification
Responsibilities:
Strong focus on safety and compliance
Allocating and scheduling drivers
Overseeing the warehouse and team of loaders
Ensuring deliveries are completed efficiently and timely
Managing fleet movement within the yard and to/from the maintenance shed/alternative site
Ongoing communication and reporting to senior management on daily operations
