Our client is currently seeking a Leading Hand to join their busy food manufacturing business located in Silverwater.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity, ideal for individuals who value long-term stability, career growth, and the chance to be part of a supportive and well-established leadership team. Duties include:
- Lead and motivate a team of production workers
- Organise daily tasks including training new staff
- Ensure daily production targets are met
- Coordinate changeovers, line setups and production transitions
- Report production issues to supervisors and maintenance teams
- Ensure all products meet food safety and quality standards
- Ensure staff follow standard operating procedures
- Escalate quality concerns
- Health and safety – enforce safety procedures
- Identify and report hazards or near issues
- Complete daily production and performance reports
- Promote good manufacturing practices (GMP)
- Computer operation
- Handling pork and beef (raw and cooked)
To be successful for these positions, you will have:
- Experience working within a food manufacturing environment
- Supervisory experience
- HACCP and GMP
- Good communication skills
- Machine operation experience
- Availability to work afternoon shift, Monday to Friday, 2pm starts
- Reliability and great work ethic
- Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge

What You Will Be Doing
