What’s the role?

Opportunity for team orientated groundskeeper, with a can-do attitude, and always remain focused on safety and service delivery. Ideally, you will have prior experience. However, we are willing to provide training for the right person.

This is a Casual role with the potential to become a Full time and would be well suited to either an experienced applicant who demonstrates competencies in a similar part; or someone interested in pursuing a career in Grounds Maintenance; the role could suit a recent school leaver with a P Plate license and an interest in outdoor labor.

Duties will include

  • Maintaining property fields, pathways, hedges and trees

  • Operating a ride on mower and other equipment, pruning and shaping trees, fixing fences,

  • Reporting maintenance requirements.

In addition, you will have:
  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 1-2 years of experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping

  • Proficiency in operating landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers

  • Knowledge of basic gardening and horticulture techniques

  • Experience with irrigation system maintenance and troubleshooting

  • Familiarity with lawn care techniques and safe handling of chemicals and fertilizers

  • Basic equipment maintenance and repair skills

  • Valid driver's license

  • Pesticide application certification (preferred)

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for local pickups and deliveries across the Adelaide metro area, as well as interstate trips to Melbourne. You’ll handle general freight using tautliners, ensuring all loads are safely restrained and delivered on time.

This role plays an important part in the safe, efficient, and effective transport of freight, supporting our commitment to quality service and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate tautliner and open rigid trucks, ensuring proper use of gates, tarps, and load restraint equipment

  • Complete local deliveries and pickups, plus occasional runs to Melbourne

  • Perform pre-start and end-of-day vehicle checks

  • Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods to designated locations

  • Complete all paperwork accurately and obtain real-time delivery signatures

  • Maintain a professional appearance and uphold company safety standards

  • Adhere to all relevant laws and policies including fatigue management, load restraint, and DG codes

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum HR (manual) licence required – HC licence preferred
