About the RoleWe're looking for reliable, detail-focused cleaners who take pride in their work. You'll help prepare beautiful holiday homes for guests, ensuring each one meets our five-star presentation standard. Main duties include:
Cleaning and resetting short-term rental homes between guest stays
Making beds and managing hotel-grade linen
Restocking essential items (tea, coffee, toiletries, etc.)
Reporting maintenance issues or missing items
Styling and presentation for guest arrivals
Good communication skills

- POSITION DESCRIPTION – GFW Landscaper (Leading Hand )
Gardens for Wildlife Bellingen is a local, family-run landscaping and bush regeneration business specialising in native garden design and implementation that treads lightly as we can on the land.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Landscaper – Leading Hand to join our team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who's passionate about creating beautiful, wildlife-friendly outdoor spaces and enjoys leading small teams to deliver high-quality results.
This position offers above Award rates and the opportunity to take part in ethical, rewarding work on Gumbaynggirr Country. Working hours are flexible (approximately 24–40 hours per week, depending on the applicant's availability and willingness to take on additional work).
About the Role
The Leading Hand Landscaper will assist in planning, coordinating, and carrying out landscape construction and maintenance projects. You'll work closely with the team to ensure efficient site operations, mentor junior staff, and communicate effectively with clients and suppliers.
This position requires a reasonable level of physical fitness, practical skills, and an eye for detail. The role involves both leadership and hands-on landscaping work.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and work alongside the landscaping team to deliver projects on time and to a high standard
Interpret landscape plans and ensure design intent is achieved on site
Liaise with clients, suppliers, and management to coordinate materials and project needs
Supervise site safety
Contribute to the planting, maintence and construction of native and wildlife-friendly landscapes
Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working order
Support and mentor junior team members.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have previous experience in landscaping, landscape construction, or horticulture (qualifications desirable but not essential) Have a minimum fo 1.5 years of landscaping experience.
Have a minimum of 1-2 years of landscaping experience
Possess strong leadership and communication skills
Be passionate about native plants, sustainability, and environmentally responsible landscaping
Demonstrate practical skills with tools, machinery, and materials used in landscaping
Be reliable, self-motivated, and capable of managing time and priorities on site
Hold a current driver's licence and have their own vehicle ( possibility for company ute for right candidate )
Hold a current Car (C class) driver's licence
Have full working rights in Australia
Be based locally or willing to stay long-term in the Bellingen / Gumbaynggirr Country area
