About the Role
You'll be involved in:
Base coat and top coat application
Texture coating and finishing
Site preparation and clean-up
Working within ARK Rendering's quality standards and SafetyCulture processes
Supporting apprentices where required
What we are looking for
Long term experience in rendering, solid plastering, texture coating
Minimum 4-5 years of experience in rendering and solid plastering
Not required but knowledge and experience in Venetian plasters, and Microcements.
Reliable, honest and proud of your workmanship
Good communication and teamwork
Ability to relocate to Yeppoon (support available)
Drivers licence + white card
Australian citizenship required
Full car licence required

We are seeking Cleaners/Labourer's to join our current team on a casual basis with the option for weekend shifts.
Successful applicants will be required to work mainly afternoon shift 4pm-12am three to four nights a week as well as potentially twice a month on Sunday 8am to 4pm which attracts the appropriate penalty rates.
Experience in Industrial / High Risk cleaning, labouring or food manufacturing is desirable however full training will be provided to the successful applicant. Some of the services Innovative Cleaning Experts offer to our clients are as follows;
- cleaning internals of food production machinery
- external cleaning of manufacturing machinery
- water blasting
- flour silo internal cleaning

The role:
We want motivated and enthusiastic trainees to join our Non-Destructive Testing Traineeship Program commencing in 2026. You will gain practical ‘in field’ experience in NDT methodologies, whilst undertaking studies in Engineering at either Certificate or Advanced Diploma levels.
Trainees that successfully complete the Certificate III and meet the technical and non-technical requirements have the opportunity to complete an Advanced Diploma of Engineering (Mechanical) and advanced Non-Destructive Testing qualifications. This will then enable you to work by yourself as a Non-Destructive Testing Technician within our business.
All qualifications and training expenses are fully funded by Bureau Veritas and you will receive nationally recognised qualifications through AINDT upon successful completion of the applicable NDT training courses.
What this program offer’s?
Year 1 – establishing the foundations
· Undergoing Certificate III in Engineering - Technical completion
· Level II AINDT certifications in Materials Technology, Dye Penetrant, and Magnetic Particle Testing
· One day per week study leave support
Year 2-3 – provided specialist training
· NDT method certification (Ultrasonic Testing - Welds)
· Practical experience accumulation
· Mentorship and knowledge transfer
There are also opportunities to gain experience beyond the program which may include Oil and Gas exposure, Mining Industry exposure, drone operation and other task specific training programs
What’s needed?
Ideally you will have previous experience and the following skillsets:
· Year 12 and pass marks in Maths, English and Science; OR
· Mechanical aptitude or an interest in how mechanical things work
· Ability to successfully pass a mathematical aptitude test
· A “can do” attitude and a willingness to travel and work flexible hours
