We are seeking a skilled Qualified Residential and Commercial maintenance plumber, to join in our plumbing Business, working all over the Sunshine Coast, for an immediate start.

We work on all commercial and residential sites on the Sunshine Coast, and require a plumber with strong understanding of maintenance, along with drainage, gas fitting and some roofing works, and back flow certified but not crucial .

About the Role
Working in the domestic / residential maintenance sector, you, the General Manager will be hands on, working alongside a great small team of plumbers and apprentices.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will include but not be limited to:

  • Interpret plumbing, construction, and engineering drawings/specifications for site set outs

  • Scope works and assist with estimating and variations

  • Liaise with trades, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients

  • Oversee WHS, compliance, and job quality

  • Prepare and manage job schedules and timelines

  • Provide support, advice, coaching and supervision of plumbers and apprentices in the field with technical and sales related queries.

  • Checking jobs and that correct margins are being met and processes followed in adherance to company standards and guidelines.

  • Provide support with phone calls and quoting as necessary when Plumbing work is indicated on these jobs.

  • Attend larger projects to assist in completing plumbing works from start to finish

  • Provide hands on backup if required to ensure job completion to timely manner where necessary.

  • Assist with complaint resolution

  • Keep up to date with current standards and changes, adhere to relevant Australian Standards and Codes of Practices as well as AS3500, AS5601. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending training

  • Assist with development of training content relevant to operational requirements

  • Taking afterhour calls when required

Skills & experience

  • Cert IV in Plumbing or relevant qualifications

  • At least 3 - 5 years strong Maintenance Plumbing experience specifically working with domestic / residential clients

  • At least 1-2 years experience in a similar Plumbing Supervisor role.

  • Other relevant licenses

  • Good understanding of the Plumbing Standard AS3500

  • Australian Driver's License

The Role

As a cleaner, you will be responsible for internal cleaning duties, including the maintenance of carpets and hard floor surfaces, toilet cleaning, furniture and fittings, window cleaning, dusting, rubbish removal, and other items of general cleaning. In addition, you will also carry out external cleaning duties, including the cleaning of verandas and covered areas, rubbish removal, cleaning of drinking troughs, window cleaning, removal of cobwebs and other general cleaning duties. During vacation times, you will also undertake the stripping and sealing of vinyl floors, window cleaning, shampooing of carpets, pressure cleaning of verandas and undercover areas.

Suitable applicants should have good attention to detail and will be able to work well both individually and as part of a team to ensure a clean and safe school environment.
