This position is Site based on a rolling 8/6 Dayshift roster. This position will manage and promote the safe, professional and efficient managing of the maintenance department on site.
This role is perfect for someone looking to be in control of their own destiny - work both internally within our team and externally with our clients site based teams.
About the Role:
Safely lead a team of in house maintenance professionals including Mobile plant mechanics, auto electricians and Boilermakers.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders as the MHM representative
Drive efficiency within the team to meet tight deadlines whilst ensuring team members comply with all OHS responsibilities and that a safety-first culture is a consistent behaviour within the team
Provide maintenance solutions and support
Ensure accurate, cost effective and timely ordering of parts and consumables
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders in relation to machine performance, parts, workmanship and safety
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate service schedules and plans
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders in relation to all unplanned down time with honesty and professionalism
Be on top of all maintenance and safety tasks to ensure safe and on time delivery of all works
Be responsible for the day-to-day activities of maintenance personnel and ensure labour is used most effectively

Essentials from You:
Heavy Mechanical Trade - AUS/NZ Recognized
Previous experience in a similar role
Sound knowledge on a variety of OEM's with particular focus on Hitachi, Komatsu and Epiroc machinery
Great communication skills with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Solid technical knowledge and the ability to navigate complex technical issues
Minimum five (5) years post trade experience
Previous experience in mining and civil equipment maintenance
Previous experience in mobile equipment repairs
Current manual drivers’ licence
Able to complete and pass a pre-employment medical and DAS
Able to provide a current National Police Clearance

WA Water Bores is seeking experienced water well drillers . We are especially looking for conventional air and mud rotary Water Well drillers.
WA Water Bores is a new family owned and operated company based in Geraldton Western Australia. We specialise in water well drilling, mainly mud rotary water supply bores and large diameter mud rotary bores. Majority of our contracts are between Perth and Geraldton. We also have a rig dedicated to the Goldfields. Top rates will be paid to the right candidate’s.

Key requirements
*Minimum Class 1 water well license preferably class 2.
*Mechanically minded and able to carry out minor repairs and servicing of drill rig, mud pumps and support equipment.
*Have a good attitude towards maintaining health and safety management systems including equipment pre starts, morning safety and tool box meetings, health and safety reporting.
*Hold at least a HR truck license.
*Preferably minimum 10 years experience in the industry.

About the Role
We are seeking experienced Maintenance Supervisors to lead and manage equipment maintenance operations across multiple mine sites for our valued client. In this pivotal role, you will ensure high equipment availability, statutory compliance, accurate maintenance systems, and effective cost control. You will coordinate onsite maintenance crews, contractors, and resources to deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective maintenance outcomes that support our operational and strategic objectives.
Key responsibilities include leading preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing of various machinery, supervising repairs, breakdowns, and component change-outs, and driving a strong safety-first culture with a focus on continuous improvement. You will work closely with the Maintenance Manager to ensure all equipment operates at peak performance and remains fully compliant with site requirements.
To be successful, you will bring at least 4–5 years’ experience as a Maintenance Supervisor within the Bowen Basin mining sector, along with strong technical capability across a range of mobile equipment. This is an on-site, drive-in/drive-out role.
