About the Role

Armesto’s Transport is expanding and looking for professional, reliable and experienced MC B-Double Drivers to join our team based out of our Rocklea Depot.

This role involves express interstate linehaul work on the following routes:

  • Brisbane ⇄ Sydney

  • Brisbane ⇄ Melbourne

  • Brisbane ⇄ North Queensland

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Minimum 3 years MC and interstate driving experience (express preferred)

  • Overnight and night driving experience essential

  • Valid BFM certificate

  • Current or willing to obtain Police Check

  • Good driving history – must provide recent 5-year traffic history

  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol test, and driving assessment

  • Road ranger experience preferred but not essential

  • A strong work ethic, professionalism, and reliability

The Opportunity

Due to continuous growth and expansion, we are seeking experienced MC drivers based in Bunbury. You will play a vital role in collecting waste oil from various locations across West Australia including the Southwest, Goldfields, Great Southern, Pilbara and Metro area.  

Weekly trips throughout WA with regular days a week on the road . These roles will see you travelling from Bunbury away from home for 2-5 nights per week. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Performing pre-start checks and reporting maintenance faults and defects

  • Completing administrative tasks such as controlled waste tracking forms and waste collection receipts using a mobile device.

  • Utilisation of onboard pumps to collect waste oil products from customers.

  • Unloading/transferring of collected waste products.

  • Following the Heavy Vehicle RAV Network and adhering to all Main Roads Heavy Vehicle requirements.

  • Planning and managing of assigned runs for completion in the most efficient way possible.

  • Servicing multiple mine sites and adhering to all site policies and procedures, including the completion of site inductions.

  • Maintaining a fatigue logbook with trip details, including required fatigue breaks to ensure full compliance with Commercial Driver Fatigue regulations.

  • Fitness for work is imperative as this role is physical due to handling of pump hoses, equipment and accessing the top of tanks via fixed ladder.

We are seeking candidates who meet the following essential qualifications.

  • Valid  MC Driver's License 

  • Minimum 2 years MC Experience

  • High motivated and focused.

  • Organised and detail-oriented in daily work practices.
