17+ years mine life providing long-term career stability

About Us
At Ramelius Resources, gold mining isn’t just what we do — it’s who we are. From our early days at Wattle Dam to becoming one of Australia’s most respected gold producers, we’ve built our success on innovation, resilience, and a commitment to excellence.

With a strong pipeline of projects and a focus on sustainable growth, we’re investing in new technologies and exploration to shape the future of mining. But what truly sets us apart is our people. We foster a culture of opportunity, respect, and shared ambition — when you grow, we grow.

Our Mount Magnet Mining (MMG) operations include multiple open pit, underground, and satellite sites with a projected 17-year mine life. The Checkers processing plant at Mt Magnet is currently undergoing a A$223M expansion and upgrade to an initial 4.3Mtpa capacity, with construction expected to be completed in the September 2027 quarter.

The Role
As Maintenance Planner at our gold mining operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient performance of plant, equipment, and infrastructure across the site. Working closely with supervisors and stakeholders, you’ll provide the planning discipline that keeps our operations running smoothly and safely.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Develop job plans with clear instructions, labour, materials, tools, and equipment
  • Build and maintain weekly, fortnightly, and shutdown schedules aligned to operations
  • Review backlog and plan corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance
  • Coordinate shutdowns including scope, sequencing, resources, and communication
  • Provide accurate estimates for durations, dates, and resources
  • Deliver weekly schedules via Pronto and MS Project to supervisors
  • Maintain clear communication across maintenance and other departments
  • Drive continuous improvement in safety, efficiency, and cost control
  • Monitor activities to ensure statutory and regulatory compliance
  • Support HSE, HR, and legal requirements in line with company policies
  • Identify and report hazards, eliminating unsafe behaviours
  • Comply with financial authorities and company procedures
About You
You’re a trade‑qualified maintenance professional with excellent organisational skills and a proactive approach to safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement. With clear communication and a collaborative style, you ensure maintenance activities are well‑planned, resourced, and aligned with operational priorities.

You bring to the role:
  • Trade Certificate, preferably Mechanical
  • Demonstrated post‑trade experience in fixed and/or mobile plant
  • High level of proficiency with Pronto is essential
  • Prior experience in supervisory or maintenance leadership roles
  • Exposure to asset management planning
  • High level of confidence in Shutdown planning
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Competent in MS Project, Excel, and Word (desirable)
  • ICAM Lead Investigator accreditation (desirable)
  • Experience in Maintenance Planning across Australian mining operations spanning processing, infrastructure and light vehicle.
What We Offer
This role is offered on an 8:6 basis, FIFO from Perth or BIBO from Geraldton. We offer a competitive salary with performance bonuses, benefits and strong support for your career, wellbeing and life outside of work.
