The Opportunity:
This exciting opportunity will start on dayshift working in the Altona area, Monday - Friday 10.00am - 6.00pm, for a highly motivated Warehouse Administrator to become part of the team. The casual pay rate will be $33.38ph + Pen+ Super, Temp to permanent opportunity for the right candidate

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the daily activities of the warehouse team to optimise productivity and meet deadlines
  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, monitoring inventory levels and initiating replenishments as needed
  • Ensure all warehouse operations adhere to relevant health, safety, and quality standards
  • Booking orders, freight and confirming transport with 3PL carriers
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to provide updates and address any issues or concerns
  • Implement and maintain effective systems and processes to enhance warehouse efficiency
  • Analyse warehouse data to identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations
  • Processing of dispatch paperwork for customers
  • Use WMS to pick and checking goods off picking list (as required)

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Administrator or similar role within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively
  • Strong people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Proficient in the use of warehouse management systems and other relevant software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Thorough understanding of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch procedures
  • Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and quality regulations and standards
  • Prior experience in an FMCG environment and/or current forklift license would be highly advantageous but not essential

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Conduct QC line verification activities on semi finished and finished products

  • Report Food Safety and Quality in process non-conformances to QA department.

  • Report outcomes within specified timeframes and ensure nonconforming product is quarantined.

  • Maintain QC records to provide objective evidence that product conforms to the appropriate requirements.
