An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bookkeeper / Accountant to join our supportive team at JY Accountants.
This is a full-time position, however, candidates seeking a 4-day work week will also be considered.

Our modern office is conveniently located in central Southport.

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:

• At least 2 years of accounting experience, preferably within public practice servicing small to medium business clients

• Excellent communication and client service skills, with a genuine focus on building strong client relationships

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and proficiency with accounting software (Xero experience highly regarded)

• Strong attention to detail and a high level of numerical accuracy

• Genuine interest in financial and tax work, with a proactive and analytical mindset

• Commitment to delivering quality outcomes and exceeding client expectations

• Respectful and collaborative attitude, thriving in a team-oriented environment

• Willingness to learn and grow, including the ability to reflect on and learn from feedback or mistakes
