Full Time Medical Receptionist for Specialist practice
38 hours per week Monday - Friday
Role Background:
We are expanding established practice located in Western Sydney. We are seeking a full-time medical receptionist to join our exisiting excellent Reception team with a long term outlook.
We require a team-player who has initiative and enjoys working in a busy and professional team environment.This role requires you to be a first point of contact for our patients. Ability to be warm, and welcoming will be pivotal. You will also be trained to assist our clinical team including taking scans using our medical equipment.
The successful applicant will:
Be confident working in a fast-paced environment
Answer telephone calls & respond to emails
Assist with patient enquiries
Check patients into clinic & process patient medical files
Process patient billing (handling cash and EFTPOS transactions)
Distribute patient correspondence
Maintain a clean & tidy practice
Have strong multi-tasking skills and ability to trouble shoot as needed
Provide administration support to Specialists when required
Desire to learn new skills and upskill
Possess experience in a similar role (highly regarded but not essential)
Background in hospitality/customer service is highly regarded
Essential requirements:
A fast learner, training on systems and processes will be provided
Proficient in Microsoft Office - word, excel, outlook
Clear communication style
Strong attention to detail
Flexibility to cover other team members to cover sick & annual leave
Well presented with professional & caring manner
Reliable, efficient, honest & trustworthy
