Veolia has a fantastic opportunity for an Environmental Supervisor to join our QGC Project in Wandoan 4419. Within this role you will be responsible for support for the Operations supervisor, implementing, maintaining, and improving the environmental management system for the QGC Project. The role involves delivering environmental functions, as well as supervisory support for Reverse Osmosis water treatment facilities.

• Implement, maintain, and continuously improve the environmental management system for the QGC Project
• Deliver environmental functions and ensure compliance reporting for all water treatment facilities
• Provide supervisory support and after-hours coverage to scheme supervisors
• Comply with business management systems and Quality Policy for Drinking Water and Recycled Water
• Participate in development and review of quality systems (ISO9001, ISO14000, ISO22000, HACCP)
• Generate accurate reports within required timeframes and interpret plant performance data
• Supervise environmental contractors and consultants
• Conduct environmental/water sampling and testing for compliance
• Investigate environmental incidents and prepare reports

• Proven experience in environmental management systems
• Understanding of water treatment operations
• ISO standards knowledge (9001, 14000, 22000)
• Report writing and analytical capabilities
