Fatz Fabrication is a manufacturing and product installation business based in Rockhampton QLD. We produce Premium standard stainless-steel Snorkels, exhaust systems and various induction related products for the 4WD industry. We have been in operation since 2009 and are well established within the industry. We have a team-oriented culture and work as a team to achieve ongoing and immediate goals and commitments.
Fatz fabrication is looking for an additional team member for an immediate start to come on staff in our metal finishing department. Attention to detail and attitude to continually improve process and efficiency is vital.
Main work duties will include:
- Grinding back welds on stainless steel components, through a set process.
- Polishing stainless steel and aluminium components to a seamless form, ready for the next step in the process.
- Using polishing machines as well as handheld grinding and finishing equipment.
- Tig Brushing and cleaning finished components.
- General workshop duties, as needed.

Successful applicant will be employed on a casual full-time basis, with expected transition to full time permanent employment.
Job Types: Full-time, Casual
Salary: $48,000.00 – $57,300 per year
Schedule:
- 4.5 Day Week. Early finish Fridays
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime available as need arises.
Supplemental pay types:
- Overtime pay.
