Are you a logistics professional with a passion for service and operational excellence?
We are seeking a Transport Team Leader to lead and support the delivery operations, ensuring vital mechanical equipment reaches hospitals, nursing homes and residential care facilities across designated zones.
Located in Thomastown, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth delivery of essential equipment to healthcare providers and patients, ensuring they get the support they need when they need it the most.
Your key responsibilities will include, although are not limited to:
- Manage day-to-day driver's enquiries, provide clear directions ensuring they have all the information and resources they need to perform efficiently.
- Oversee delivery routes, optimise scheduling and ensure efficient coverage of all designated areas in line with the service zones
- Act as the first point of contact for customer complaints, taking a proactive approach to resolve issues quickly and professionally.
- Monitor and assess transport operations to ensure compliance with health and safety standards and company policies.
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Strong background in transport logistics, ideally within the healthcare or related sectors.
- Excellent communication skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction and problem-solving.
- A solid understanding of routing, zone management and scheduling.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Ability to manage a team and coordinate with drivers and other staff to meet delivery deadlines.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on improving operational efficiency.
