About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at McGuire Hotels' as a Duty Manager at our flagship property, The Junction @ Annerley in Annerley, Queensland. As a Duty Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our full-service hotel, overseeing all aspects of daily operations. This is a full-time position based on-site in Annerley.

What you'll be doing

• Managing and coordinating the hotel's food and beverage operations to deliver exceptional customer service

• Overseeing staff scheduling, training, and performance management to build a motivated and engaged team

• Responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner

• Monitoring inventory and stock levels, and placing orders as needed to maintain appropriate supplies

• Assisting with financial management tasks such as cash handling, reporting, and budget tracking

• Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations

What we're looking for

• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, with strong people management and communication skills

• Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving skills to handle guest inquiries and resolve issues effectively

• Proficiency in using hotel management software and tools, with the ability to understand and interpret financial data

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation

• Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations in the hospitality industry

• Flexible and adaptable to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
