About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at McGuire Hotels' as a Duty Manager at our flagship property, The Junction @ Annerley in Annerley, Queensland. As a Duty Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our full-service hotel, overseeing all aspects of daily operations. This is a full-time position based on-site in Annerley.
What you'll be doing
Managing and coordinating the hotel's food and beverage operations to deliver exceptional customer service
Overseeing staff scheduling, training, and performance management to build a motivated and engaged team
Responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner
Monitoring inventory and stock levels, and placing orders as needed to maintain appropriate supplies
Assisting with financial management tasks such as cash handling, reporting, and budget tracking
Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations
What we're looking for
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, with strong people management and communication skills
Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving skills to handle guest inquiries and resolve issues effectively
Proficiency in using hotel management software and tools, with the ability to understand and interpret financial data
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations in the hospitality industry
Flexible and adaptable to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
