About the role
The UTS Animal Logic Academy is seeking a Lead or Supervisor with 10+ years' CG experience mentoring teams across both 3D assets and imaging to join a dynamic team delivering studio-based education for master's students. The role oversees the modelling, surfacing, lighting, and compositing departments within the Academy's proprietary VFX and 3D animation production pipeline.
The purpose of this position is to provide student and team mentoring and leadership within the context of studio practice for the students of the UTS Animal Logic Academy (ALA) in multiple areas of computer graphics production that include modelling, surfacing, lighting and compositing.
About You
You have 10+ years' of high-level studio production working on either/or animated or visual effects features or commercial productions and demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor junior to mid-level teams in specific areas of 3D animation and/or visual effects production, specifically: modelling, surfacing, lighting and compositing.
