CNC Machinist – Full-Time Monday to Friday only
📍 Kalgoorlie, Western Australia
Residential role only – FIFO not considered
Billet Engineering is a leading manufacturing company in the Goldfields, specializing in the repair and manufacture of hydraulic cylinders and associated components for surface and underground machinery.
We are currently seeking a skilled CNC and Manual Machinist to join our high-performing team in Kalgoorlie. This is a hands-on role where precision, quality, and pride in workmanship are essential.
🔧 About the Role
Due to continued growth and strong demand in the region, we’re looking for experienced, passionate professionals to join our workshop team. In this role, you will:
Operate and maintain CNC and manual machining equipment to produce components to exact specifications
Read and interpret engineering drawings, manuals, and specifications to determine dimensions, tolerances, and machining sequences
Set and adjust controls for speed, feed, coolant flow, and cutting depth/angle; input or edit CNC programs as needed
Use precision measuring tools to verify conformance of finished components
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet project requirements
Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot machining or assembly issues
👤 About You
We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated, adaptable, and takes pride in their work. You’ll also bring:
A Trade Certificate or equivalent Australian-recognized qualification
Solid understanding of engineering and machining principles
Full Australian working rights
Excellent time management and communication skills
A professional, well-groomed appearance
Ability to pass a PEM (Pre-Employment Medical) and DAS (Drug & Alcohol Screening)
