WHAT'S THE JOB?

We’re looking for a hands-on Digital Content Producer; a creative storyteller who can capture the energy, creativity and diversity of life at AIM and bring it to life across our digital channels.

You’ll be behind the camera, in the edit suite and part of every stage of production from ideation to creation, producing high-quality content that drives awareness, community engagement and student enrolments. If you live and breathe content creation, love being part of a fast-moving creative team, and know how to make a story sing on social media, we want to hear from you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Content Production (Video + Digital)

  • Ideate, shoot, edit and publish high-quality content across AIM’s digital channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, website and eDMs).
  • Direct, coordinate and capture both high-fidelity and behind-the-scenes (lo-fi) content at AIM events, campus life moments and student showcases.
  • Work with internal teams (key stakeholders) and external partners (videographers, photographers, copywriters) to deliver compelling brand stories.
  • Ensure all content aligns with AIM’s creative direction, tone and compliance standards.

Social Media & Campaign Execution

  • Execute AIM’s social content strategy across platforms in collaboration with the Marketing Manager.
  • Manage day-to-day posting, engagement and community interactions across AIM channels including Google business profile.
  • Contribute to content calendars, ensuring consistent brand storytelling across digital channels.
  • Monitor social trends and performance data to refine and optimise future content.
  • Support the Marketing Manager in developing and producing paid media creatives based on campaign strategies, using Photoshop and other design tools (experience required).

Collaboration, Events & Project Management

  • Manage and support key recruitment events such as Open Day, Info Day and Backstage Pass, ensuring content capture and promotion align with campaign goals.
  • Work closely with the Marketing and Recruitment teams to ensure content supports campaign objectives and drives engagement.
  • Support content requirements for digital campaigns, web updates and event promotion.
  • Capture key AIM moments including events, student performances, workshops and guest artist sessions.

Website Content & Copywriting

  • Write, edit, and publish engaging content for AIM’s website, including blog posts, news articles, and promotional pages, ensuring consistent brand voice and tone.
  • Manage content through the CMS (WordPress), updating pages, adding media, and maintaining website structure and functionality.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and internal stakeholders to develop website content that supports campaigns, events, and student engagement initiatives.
  • Monitor website performance and suggest improvements to enhance user experience and content impact.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  1. Proven experience creating high-quality video and digital content (including editing for social platforms).
  2. Proficiency in video editing tools (Premiere Pro, CapCut or similar) and design tools (Canva or Adobe Suite).
  3. Strong understanding of social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn) and current content trends.
  4. Knowledge of Photoshop and editing tools.
  5. Excellent short-form copywriting skills and an eye for visual storytelling.
  6. Highly organised, collaborative, and comfortable working on multiple projects at once.
