At Conyngham Street Community Children's Centre, we are dedicated to fostering a nurturing and engaging environment for young learners. Our team is passionate about inspiring curiosity and creativity in children. We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our vibrant community, working with children aged 3-5 years.

Conyngham Street Community Children's Centre is located in the leafy Eastern suburb of Glenside. We have free onsite parking and are close to the CBD and public transport.

This position is 4 days per week (32 hours) commencing 7th January 2026.

Working alongside the Educational Leader and another ECT your key responsibilities include:

  • Developing, implementing and evaluating age-appropriate curriculum and experiences

  • Assess and document children's progress and development

  • Collaborate with other educators to enhance learning experiences

  • Creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment

  • Fostering positive relationships with children, families and other educators 

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Early Childhood Education - new Graduates are encouraged to apply.

  • Extensive knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • A passion for early childhood education and child development

  • A valid Working with Children Check

  • Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, Asthma and RRHAN-EC certificates (or willing to obtain)
