About the Role
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Heavy Haulage Drivers to join our team on a casual basis, with the opportunity for permanency for the right candidate.

This role offers a competitive rate based on experience and the opportunity to work with our modern, well-maintained fleet of low-hour, late-model Mack and Volvo prime movers paired paired with Drop Decks, Wideners, Super Tilts and 80T Drake Quad Floats. You’ll be responsible for safely transporting heavy earthmoving machinery across Western Australia, including the Northwest and Goldfields regions.

 Key Responsibilities

• Operate 50T and 100T floats, and all associated heavy haulage equipment

• Fleet includes low hour and well-maintained Mack, Volvo & Drop Decks / Wideners, Super Tilts & 80t Drake Quad Floats

• Conduct long distance and local Pilbara and Goldfields driving

• Perform vehicle recovery when required

• Assist with the delivery of trucks and trailers

• Safely load, restrain and transport machinery and equipment

• Manage journeys including permits, pilots and mine site requirements

• Ensure compliance with fatigue management and WHS standards

• Complete all records and reporting – timesheets, pre-starts, consignment notes etc.

• Apply strong problem-solving skills and perform minor maintenance when required

 The ideal candidate will have

• A valid MC licence with a minimum of 5 years’ heavy haulage experience in WA

• Extensive experience in heavy haulage, including load restraint training

• Ability to work safely on mine sites and follow all site rules and procedures

• Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Sound knowledge of WA Heavy Vehicle Regulations, Main Roads permits, and fatigue compliance

• Clear and professional communication skills

• Ability to use electronic connotes

• Pride in your work, equipment, and presentation

• Willingness to learn and adapt

• Proven experience in specialised transport operations

• Knowledge of remote Western Australian roads and driving conditions

• Understanding of mine site transport requirements (preferred)

• A professional attitude, high safety focus, reliability, and self-motivation

 Additional Information

• Applicants must be based in Perth and able to commute to our Pinjarra workshop and eligible to work in Australia.

• A pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening, will be required.

• A current Police Clearance may also be requested.
