We are seeking a Senior Finance Manager to provide strategic financial leadership and operational oversight across the Jreissati Group's diverse business units. This is a dynamic, high-impact role with a commercial focus, with a dual base in Melbourne CBD and Yarra Valley.
About the Role
As Senior Finance Manager, you will:
Partner with the CEO and operational executives to drive commercial outcomes.
Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
Oversee all financial reporting, compliance, and governance functions.
Manage cash flow, treasury, and bank covenant reporting.
Supervise a small finance team and ensure system integrity and process optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Business Partnering
Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecasts.
Provide commercial insights and support capital expenditure decisions.
Manage cash flow forecasting and treasury operations.
Financial Control & Compliance
Deliver accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports.
Ensure compliance with ASIC and tax obligations (GST, WET, FBT, CGT, etc.).
Maintain robust internal controls and financial procedures.
Team Management & Operational Oversight
Mentor and lead two direct reports.
Oversee AP/AR functions and balance sheet reconciliations.
Maintain ERP and general ledger integrity.
Must haves
CA/CPA qualified with 5+ years post-qualification experience.
Proven experience in wine, agriculture, hospitality, or hotel sectors.
Strong business partnering and communication skills.
Experience with multi-entity groups and complex financial environments.
Advanced Excel and accounting software proficiency.
Deep understanding of corporate governance and tax legislation.
Annual salary is between $140,000 - $150,000 (including superannuation) based on experience
